Nods in Hays
Poetry. — 2023-04-08. — 1 tracing.
"Thoughts asleep, a mind in flight The journey grand, a vivid sight Yet fleeting dreams, they slip away Leaving me, with nods in hays The world outside, so noisy place in constant buzz, a frenzied race I plead my case, a tranquil mind so much to find The sky above, wondrous sight The canvas vast, yet hues say nay Yet, too soon, the day is donned The reign of dark sets the sun Stillness now, I see repose A moment's peace, to calm my woes And as I rest, I start to see That beauty corrals me"
